You must have multiplied the entire number by 8, and then put the point where it seemed appropriate. Two operations were needed. You should have multiplied only the fractional part by 8, and noted the successive products. The integral part of the number should be divided successively by 8 and the remainders noted. If this is not clear, Lesson 7 should be reviewed.
