Multiplication by addition, and division by subtraction
The number 18 is the divisor, the number 6 is the dividend, and the number 3 is the quotient.
You have the divisor and the dividend reversed. In a division the number being divided is the dividend; the number doing the dividing is the divisor; and the result, of course, is the quotient.
