Let’s see:

10³ = 10 × 10 × 10 = 1000; (4²)(4¹) = 4^(2 + 1) = 4³ = 4 × 4 × 4 = 64; (b^m)(b⁴) = b^(m + 4) (Note exponents are added); (8⁴)(8⁶) = 8^(4 + 6) = 8¹⁰.
