Multiplication by addition, and division by subtraction
The number 3 is the divisor, the number 18 is the dividend, and the number 6 is the quotient.
18 is the dividend, all right, but you have the divisor and the quotient reversed. The divisor is the number divided into the dividend, and the answer is the quotient.
