Your answer :

(4³)/(4³) = (64)/(64) = 1.

It is true that

(4³)/(4³) = (64)/(64) = 1

but we asked you to write the result of the division in exponent form, as some power of 4. To do this, simply follow the rule for division:

(b^m)/(bⁿ) = b^{(m − n)}.

In this case, b = 4, of course, and both m and n = 3. So

(b^m)/(bⁿ) = (4³)/(4³) = 4^{(3 − 3)} = ?
