Your answer :
(43)/(43) = (64)/(64) = 1.
It is true that
(43)/(43) = (64)/(64) = 1
but we asked you to write the result of the division in exponent form, as some power of 4. To do this, simply follow the rule for division:
(bm)/(bn) = b(m − n).
In this case, b = 4, of course, and both m and n = 3. So
(bm)/(bn) = (43)/(43) = 4(3 − 3) = ?
