(b2)/(b3) = b1.
Come, come now. The rule is
(bm)/(bn) = b(m − n).
Now in the case of (b2)/(b3), we hav m = 2 and n = 3, so we are going to get
(b2)/(b3) = b(2 − 3).
So, 2 − 3 isn’t 1, is it? It’s -1.
