Your answer :
3(80) = 3.
You are correct. Any number with a 0 exponent equals 1 (unless the base number is 0, of course). So 80 = 1, and therefore
3(80) = 3(1) = 3.
Well, this is too easy. Let’s complicate the problem a little. What is 4(61) + 3(60)?
Answer :
4(61) + 3(60) = 42.
