Your answer :
.632812510 = .5548.
You seem to have used the first digit of the second fractional part instead of the integral part of the second product.
.6328125  ×  8 1st integral part →  5.0625000  ← 1st fractional part  ×  8 2nd integral part →  0.5000000  ← 2nd fractional part  ×  8 3rd integral part →  4.0000000  ← 3rd fractional part
You were evidently worried by the fact that the integral part of the second product came out 0, so used the first digit instead. If a product is less than 1, that is, if the integral part is 0, you just include a 0 in the appropriate place in the octal number.
Now return to Page 255 and try again.
